How to set up and use the feed generator:
First of all, find out your Store ID. It is shown in the lower right corner of your Ecwid store control panel.
Then in this URL: http://ecwid-gbase.gadsdengraphics.com/1003.xml replace “1003″ with your Ecwid store ID and you will get a link to your properly formatted XML, ready to upload to Google. Save this URL.
Open Google Merchant Center and create an account there, if you don’t have one.
Open the “Data feeds” page, press the “New data feed” button to create a new feed. Use the “googlebase” format. Name your data feed, you can choose any name you would like, for example “My Store”, then click “Save Changes”.
Then click the “Edit” link near the created feed. Use the URL you got earlier to schedule the upload of your products.
Please be sure to watch THIS VIDEO. It is short and clearly explains the process. Most people who have trouble with this process have not watched (or paid attention!) to the video.
