Basic Installation
Your Main Street Mall Online web store is a complete WordPress CMS website installation. A MSMO seller’s account is one of the best, and most affordable, ways to get your own e-commerce website.
Your MSMO web store is installed on a separate hosting account. It is a fully stand-alone website while still being linked to the MSMO parent community. A semi-custom theme is provided making use of any banner, graphics, and color choices you provide. Five standard pages, Home, About, Store, Blog, and Contact, are set up on the top navigation menu (you can add/or remove pages, and change their names, as you need) and four links are provided on the footer menu: Privacy Policy, Site Map (both site pages), Dashboard (a link to the WordPress control panel, and Store CP, a link to the Ecwid shopping cart control panel.
Your MSMO web store semi-custom theme typically follows a standard format featuring a banner, background and color choices provided by you or we can design one for you. Thye page layout has the banner at the top, a main navigation menu either above or below the banner (this can optionally be in the sidebar though this is not recommended), a sidebar that can be to the left or the right (right is standard) which contains a selection of features and functions called Widgets, a content area where you can add pictures and text (and where your categories and listings will appear on the store page), and a footer utility menu and copyright line, as shown in the example image above.
